Our Danish company was established in 1992. With more than 25 years of dedicated work, Flexofold is now one of the most experienced and largest manufacturers of folding propellers for sailboats. We're dedicated to providing the best possible products we can for our customers.
MADE IN DENMARK
All Flexofold propellers are designed and manufactured in Denmark in our single-purpose factory, equipped with modern CNC equipment and robot technology.
In 2017 Flexofold was acquired by Yanmar Marine International. However, Flexofold is still operating from the factory in Denmark, maintaining own distinct brand identity and remaining a Danish registered company.
The propellers are sold directly to boat builders as well as private boat owners worldwide. Due to our flexible production setup, we can manufacture and ship worldwide within a few days.

CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENTS
The first Flexofold Propeller was produced in 1993 and was quickly recognized as a superior product, but we at Flexofold were not satisfied with it and so we introduced a new blade shape in 1997.
The wider blade design and redistributed mass have improved both the forward and reverse performance in boats. In the same year, a 3-blade design was introduced using similar design parameters.
Flexofold develops, designs and manufactures low drag folding propellers for sailboats and multihull yachts.
The propellers are sold directly to boat builders as well as private boat owners worldwide. On December 1, 2017, Flexofold was acquired by Yanmar Marine International. However, Flexofold is still operating from the factory in Denmark, maintaining own distinct brand identity and remaining a Danish registered company.

Our original goal at Flexofold was to design and sell the best folding propellers we can at competitive price points. Because of this dedication to our product, Flexofold propellers are now used as part of the original equipment in an increasing number of boatyards; including Beneteau, Dehler, Elan, Grand Soleil, Hanse, J-Boats, Malö, Najad, Swan, X-Yachts and many more.
